I was so happy when David communicated he could fix my GE Monogram Refrigerator. He was prompt, courteous and identified the issue quickly. CONCERN: Customer reports lower left burner switch is not able to turn, and lower storage area access panel came loose. CAUSE: Found control panel is broken at the mounting for affected switch. And screws were loose/missing for lower access panel. CORRECTION: Replaced/tightened screws on lower panel. Control panel parts are no longer available.
CONCERN: Customer reports dishwasher door malfunctioning. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected door for visible damage, door is good condition at the time of inspection. Inspected door hinges for damage, no visible damage at the time of inspection. Inspected door springs and links, found dishwasher door hinge links failed, one spring missing. CORRECTION: Replaced link kit and tested. Operation now normal.
CONCERN: Refrigerator is not working properly. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected wall outlet for proper voltage, voltage at wall outlet was normal at the time of inspection. Inspected input voltage to compressor, input voltage at compressor was normal at the time of inspection. Inspected refrigerator thermostat cold control operation, found refrigerator cold control failed. CORRECTION: Replaced refrigerator cold control and tested. Operation now normal. CONCERN: After cold control replaced, found evaporator fan seized up. CORRECTION: R&R fan, disassembled and cleaned/lubricated and tested. Operation now normal. No leaks upon completion.
CONCERN: Customer reports refrigerator door is not working properly. CAUSE: Door cam kit failed. CORRECTION: Replaced door cam kit and tested. Operation now normal.
CONCERN: Customer reports refrigerator section is not getting cold but freezer is still working properly. CORRECTION: Replaced defrost bi-metal thermostat. Operation now normal. CONCERN: Customer reports ice maker is not making ice. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected water supply lines for leaks, no leaks from supply lines at the time of inspection. Inspected freezer for proper temperature output, temperature output in freezer normal at the time of inspection. Inspected for proper voltage to the ice maker, voltage to ice maker is normal at the time of inspection. Found voltage to the Ice maker normal however ice maker will not call for water from the refrigerator water valve. Found the ice maker failed. CORRECTION: Replaced ice maker and tested. Operation now normal. No leaks upon completion.
CONCERN: Customer reports dishwasher is not draining. CAUSE: Garbage disposal plug not removed. CORRECTION: Tested dishwasher pump for proper voltage and inspected for restrictions. Found restriction at garbage disposal plug, removed plug and tested. Operation now normal.
CONCERN: Master bedroom beverage refrigerator is not working properly. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected wall outlet for proper voltage, voltage at wall outlet was normal at the time of inspection. Inspected input voltage to compressor, input voltage at compressor was normal at the time of inspection. Inspected refrigerator thermostat cold control operation, found refrigerator cold control failed. CORRECTION: Replaced refrigerator cold control and tested. Found condenser fan running slow, replaced. Operation now normal. CONCERN: Customer reports casita beverage refrigerator is not as cold as it should be. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected wall outlet for proper voltage output, voltage output normal at the time of inspection. Inspected for voltage input at the compressor, compressor voltage input normal at the time of inspection. NOTE: Compressor was running and cooling unit down. Inspected voltage input at the condenser fan motor, input voltage was normal at the time of inspection. Foun
CONCERN: Customer reports refrigerator is not getting cold. CAUSE: Found compressor failed. CORRECTION: Replaced compressor (warranty supplied) and receiver dryer, evacuated system and recharged with freon. Operation now normal.
CONCERN: Refrigerator section is not getting cold. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected voltage from terminal block to compressor, voltage normal at the time of inspection. Tested compressor operation, compressor operation normal at the time of inspection. Inspected voltage to evaporator fan motor, voltage normal at the time of inspection. Found evaporator fan motor failed. CORRECTION: Replaced refrigerator evaporator fan motor and tested. Operation now normal.
CONCERN: Customer reports Sub Zero wine refrigerator is not getting cold, compressor is very hot. CAUSE: Found compressor failed. CORRECTION: Replaced compressor (warranty supplied) and receiver dryer, evacuated system and recharged with refrigerant. Operation now normal.
CONCERN: Customer reports dishwasher soap not dissolved. CAUSE: Found dishwasher soap to "gel" together and be hard to dissolve. CORRECTION: Recommend use of finish "pucks" not pods. Advised to place puck into silverware basket rather than dispenser. Mechanically unit works as designed at time of call.
CONCERN: Customer reports refrigerator is not working properly. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected refrigerator for proper voltage supply, voltage is normal at the time of inspection. Inspected for proper voltage from terminal block to control, voltage is normal at the time of inspection. Inspected voltage from control to DC inverter, found voltage supply to the inverter normal however no voltage coming out of the inverter to the compressor. Found compressor inverter control board failed. CORRECTION: Replaced compressor inverter control board and tested. Operation now normal.
CONCERN: Customer reports dishwasher is not working properly. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Tested the dishwasher for proper voltage to the dishwasher terminal junction box. Voltage to junction box is normal. Tested voltage from the junction box to the main control board, voltage test normal. Tested voltage from the dishwasher main control board out to water valve and dishwasher float. Found no power going through the dishwasher main control board. CORRECTION: Replaced main pcb. No leaks upon completion.
CONCERN: Customer reports dishwasher is not cleaning. CAUSE: Found dishwasher unplugged under sink. CORRECTION: Replugged unit and tested. Operation now normal.
CONCERN: Customer has new upper rack, would like installed. CORRECTION: installed new customer supplied upper rack and tested. Operation now normal. NO WARRANTY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED on customer supplied parts.
